A Special Message from Our Executive Director
California has always been proud of its high standards, but any set of standards should be reviewed and updated periodically. The Common Core Standards represent an exciting opportunity to refocus the discussion of school improvement on what really matters, which is teaching and learning. California should adopt the Common Core Standards and California educators should dive into a healthy discussion of what we really want our students to know and be able to do.
