Become a Systems Redesign Partner

The District Redesign Workshop (DRW) develops innovative services, tools, programs and processes to enable districts to become more productive now and into the future. Pivot Learning Partners leverages philanthropic funding to support new program development and testing of DRW tools, strategies and training.

DRW partners with school districts that are ready to engage in significant and systemic change and with funders willing to invest in the revitalization of the school district. Today’s budget crisis presents an opportunity to take on this challenge and to focus on increased district efficiency, but systemic change requires moving from a reform framework that focuses almost exclusively on increased accountability to one that is designed for productivity.

To that end, DRW engages with school districts to develop a clear and achievable vision for promoting an effective and responsive system of schools. DRW’s role is, in partnership with the districts, to not only build the new competencies, but also the new structures, processes, metrics and innovative tools needed to make this vision a reality.

In order to deliver a full range of DRW services, our team members draw upon a wide variety of skills, processes and tools. Whatever the focus of the systems redesign project or engagement, we will provide the training, implementation support and scaffolding necessary to meet a district’s needs.
