Regional Programs

Most of Pivot Learning Partners professional development services are offered in individual districts, but for leaders at the top of the system, a regional approach allows them more opportunities to develop their own professional learning communities. Pivot Learning Partners offers regional seminar series for superintendents and for district office leaders, as well as regional networks for district leadership teams.

Masterful District Leadership

Who should attend: Chief Academic Officers, Deputy Superintendents, Assistant Superintendents, and Directors with responsibility for curriculum and instruction

Duration: Five half-day sessions

Location: Offered in multiple regions throughout the state

Participants in these regional workshops will work as a cross-district professional learning community to learn and begin to use a data-based decision-making process that focuses on the improvement of professional practice at the district level. We’ll explore how to examine and refine district policies and practices in order to help raise achievement and close achievement gaps among students.

The Executive Leadership Center

Who should attend: Superintendents

Duration: Four half-day sessions

Location: Offered in eight regions throughout the state

The Executive Leadership Center provides Superintendents with a rare chance to interact with colleagues and explore provocative readings and the latest research from Pivot Learning Partners and others. Seminars are led by experienced Pivot Learning Partners facilitators who are current or former Superintendents. This series is presented by Pivot Learning Partners in partnership with the Association of California School Administrators (ACSA). Contact us for specific dates and locations.
