Chris Anderson is the recipient of the Outstanding Young Educator award, the Outstanding Doctoral Student award, Marin County Superintendent’s Leadership award and the Marin County Educator of the Year award. Prior to working at PLP she worked as the Asst Superintendent of Curriculum and Instruction at Tamalpais UHSD. She has also served as the Executive Director of the Education Task Force, a consortium of eleven school districts in Southern Marin, for approximately 10 years and as an Auditor with Curriculum Management Systems Inc for 19 years. She is most proud of bringing the Southern Marin Co. community together to create and implement common K-12 student learning outcomes for all Education Task Force districts and helping guide staff to collaboratively create the assessments and professional development to support implementation. |

In 2003, Lori was the recipient of the California Legislature Assembly Commendation by Resolution, Special Recognition – African American Community and the ACSA Service Award. She has also received Special Recognition from the Indian Education Program in 2002. She is most proud of her responsibility in the development and management of a $750,000 Bill and Melinda Gates grant to provide professional development for superintendents. Prior to working with PLP, Lori was the trainer and executive coach with the New Teacher Center and an executive coach with ACSA. She is the published author of three books through Corwin and Scarecrow Press. |

Marge Gratiot Marge has been the recipient of the ACSA Superintendent of the Year Award in 1995 and the AAUW Status of Women Award in 2000. She is most proud of her work as Superintendent with Los Altos School District, which improved it’s curriculum and instruction strategies to reach the highest student achievement in the state several years in a row. She has published an article in Thrust for Education on Religious Schools and Parent Choice and has served as a panelist in several associations. Prior to working with PLP, Marge was the Assistant Superintendent for Los Altos School District and also served as a consultant for the Stanford Law School for Collective Bargaining Agreements. She is currently a member of ACSA.

Peggy received the teacher of the year award In Madera County and Superintendent of the year in Contra Costa County and views those years as the greatest growing years for her. Her district had one of the first standard’s based report cards in California and their work as a county produced standards before the state adopted standards. It was a very progressive and cutting edge time in the state. Prior to joining PLP, Peggy worked as the Superintedent at Byron Union School District, and as an Assistant Superintendent of Curriculum and Director of Special Education at Mendota Unified School District. She is a member of ACSA and ASCD. |

Dan Moirao has been listed in Who's Who In American Education, The National Reference Press and Men of Achievement. He has received awards for Outstanding Administrator for Region VI and Contra Costa County and the Regional Merit Award from the California School Leadership Academy. Prior to working with PLP, Dan worked as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction with Campbell Union High School District and as the Superintendent at Hayward USD. He is published in multiple periodicals and training manuals, and has co-authored Practical Steps Toward a Theory of Leadership. He is a member of ACSA, California Staff Development Council, National Association for Constructivist Learning, and the National Staff Development Council. |

Prior to working with PLP, Lorna worked as the Assistant Superintendent for Curriculum and Instruction at San Juan USD in Sacramento. She has also been the President of the California Staff Development Council and the President of the local ACSA chapter in Sacramento. She is published by Bureau for Educational Research and the California Staff Development Council. Lorna is most proud of developing and running the Special Education Resource Network region of 10 counties in northern California for four years. In this position, she and her staff introduced the public law to educate all students with disabilities. They served 14 different target audiences from teachers to doctors. It was pioneering work; exciting and challenging. |

Elva was chosen as the Distinguished Graduate for La Verne University’s “75 Years of Excellence in Teacher Education". She has also successfully authored and won a number of grants including the Academic Mentor Grant, Safe Schools Grant and SB 1274 Grant. Prior to working with PLP, Elva worked as the Director of Secondary Education for Elk Grove Unified. In this position, she worked directly with the Associate Superintendent of Secondary Education, and together, they supervised and evaluated 9 secondary high school principals and 9 middle school principals. She also implemented and monitored instructional programs and other major instructional initiatives at the secondary level. All of her professional experience continues to instill pride in what she does today as a project lead and coach. |
