The Association of California School Administrators
(ACSA) and Pivot Learning Partners collaborate to develop and implement the Executive Leadership Center (ELC), a program designed to enable California’s superintendents to initiate and implement systemic change and continuous improvement in their districts. ELC curriculum is developed jointly by representative superintendents from ACSA and Pivot Learning Partners for seminars deployed across the state, throughout the school year. Additionally, Pivot Learning Partners and ACSA partner to develop the Walk’bout tool, a portable device and software platform designed to allow classroom observers the ability to efficiently gather and report data.

Cal Poly Pomona and Pivot Learning Partners partnered with the TQE/Teacher Prep Grant at Cal Poly Pomona in 2008 to provide professional development to 225 administrators in five partner school districts.  The grant's focus was to provide training to principals who were implementing Professional Learning Communities (PLCs) as one way to enhance the effectiveness of support to teachers new to the profession.    An Advisory Committee with representatives from each partner district, CAL POLY Pomona staff,  and Pivot Learning Partners worked together in designing all aspects of the professional development. A one day Great Leaders Institute was held in June 2009 as the culminating activity of this professional development program. Plans are underway to apply for another grant so the partnership can continue.
