Our Deepest Thanks to Those Who Share Our Spirit of Optimism
It's always a privilege to thank the many donors who support us. This year, with California schools facing both drastic budget cuts and higher expectations, I am especially grateful to all of our supporters. They have made it possible for us to help districts and schools continue to change the face of education in California - despite enormous challenges.
Children need great teachers to succeed, but teachers need great leaders to support their work. Thanks to the generosity of Bill and Mary Poland as well as Deutsche Bank and Wells Fargo, Springboard received the seed money to launch the Leadership Development Fund. This contribution-supported fund is another way Springboard is helping build the next generation of education leaders, dedicated to raising achievement for all students.
All of this work is made possible because of the people who share our spirit of optimisim and determination. In this spirit, together we can continue to create schools that are vital places to both learn and teach. Our children deserve no less.
