These new realities are challenging public education to
reinvent itself.
Founded as the Bay Area School Reform Collaborative, we reinvented ourselves as Springboard Schools, launching ourselves as a statewide service provider and shifting our focus from whole school to whole systems change. We’ve spent the
past five years learning how to create high performing schools and school districts. We’ve learned a lot, and the data say we’ve made a difference.
We’re proud of who we’ve become and the work we’ve done.
As a nonprofit organization that is both entrepreneurial and mission-driven, we want to do even better, and we know we need to adjust if we are going to be able to serve our partner districts in a changing world.
So, we’re reinventing ourselves…again.
As Pivot Learning Partners, we’ll build on what we’ve done but to bring a whole new set of innovative tools and ideas to bear on the goal of raising student achievement and closing the achievement gap.
